Emplify Announces 250% Year-over-Year Sales Growth, Adds Rachel Clark as VP of Product and Engineering

Emplify will hire 30+ employees in 2018 to support rapid growth of its InsightsTM product

FISHERS, Ind. (February 13, 2018)—Emplify, an employee engagement analytics platform, announced today the addition of Rachel Clark, VP of Product and Engineering, as well as plans for team expansion following strong momentum in 2017. Emplify, the industry leader in data-driven employee analytics and action-enabling insights for business leaders, achieved 250 percent sales growth from Q4 2016 to Q4 2017. The company’s growth was prompted by the growing need among business leaders to help workers be more successful and engaged through agile feedback processes and data-driven insights.

The Emplify Insights™ platform surfaces scientifically-grounded feedback from employees and couples it with hands-on quarterly expert coaching to help executives make more confident people decisions. Since the product’s launch in March 2017, Emplify has added more than 150 organizations to its growing customer roster for Insights, including Ivy Tech, Appirio, Harley Davidson, Crew Carwash, Cook Pharmica and Herff Jones. Tens of thousands of employees have actively participated in the Insights software, which averages a 9 out of 10 value rating from its C-level customers.

As Emplify’s new VP of Product and Engineering, Rachel Clark will drive continued company momentum and build Emplify’s product roadmap to scale. Clark was most recently the SVP of Product and Engineering at Octiv, a next-generation sales document platform. Prior to Octiv, Clark was the VP of Product and Engineering at BidPal, a software platform designed to help nonprofits engage with their donors. Clark remains an active board member at The Speak Easy, central Indiana’s first collaborative workspace.

“If I’ve learned one lesson throughout my career in the software industry, it’s this: employee engagement enables teams to maximize their potential,” said Clark. “I’m excited to join the Emplify team to not only drive product momentum, but also to be part of building a solution designed to help leaders engage employees and maximize their performance.”

To support its expansion into the employee engagement midmarket, Emplify plans to hire more than 30 employees in 2018, including sales, marketing, customer success, product, and operational support staff. In 2017, Emplify hired 23 new employees, including Employee Engagement Strategist Dan Fahrner, formerly Client Services Director at Smallbox, and Account Executive Jeff Hallam, formerly co-founder and VP of Business Development at ExactHire. Throughout its team growth, Emplify has seen a 30-percentile-point increase in its own Insights engagement score.

“As we continue into the new year, it’s a great time to be a part of the Emplify community, whether you’re a team member, investor, or customer,” said Santiago Jaramillo, CEO and co-founder of Emplify. “We are thrilled for Rachel to join our team to ensure our product is scaling to meet industry demand as the need for strategic employee engagement is at an all-time high. We look forward to partnering with many more world-class leaders to maximize their team’s potential in 2018 and beyond.”
